What Is the Gospel?

Our Passion

We believe the faithful proclamation of God’s Word is central to the church’s mission. Salvation begins by hearing and responding to the Word in faith (Rom. 10:17), and ongoing sanctification occurs through active obedience to the Word (John 8:31; John 17:17). For this reason, the Word of God maintains a focal place in our worship. Each and every Lord’s Day, we gather together to sing the Word, pray the Word, hear the preached Word, and see the Word through the sacraments. Our prayer is that the Spirit of God will take the Word of God and show us the Son of God - all to the glory of God alone!
